Know who your client owes before the consultation.

One pull returns creditors, balances, collections and public records in a summary your attorney can read in a minute. Start with a phone number, because clients rarely have every detail on hand. Consent, verification and the audit trail come with every pull.

Integration help starts within 24 hours. No long-term contracts, no monthly minimums.

  1. 01 · Intake

Start the pull with a phone number on the first call.

  2. 02 · Pull

Creditors, balances, collections and public records at once.

  3. 03 · Review

A clean summary your attorney can read in a minute.

  4. 04 · Consult

Walk into the meeting already knowing the picture.

The intake call

Intake goes faster when the report does the remembering.

Clients forget creditors, mix up balances and lose track of accounts that moved to collections. A pull gives your intake team the record instead of a recollection.

“Can you list every creditor and roughly what you owe each one? Take your time.”
Without a pull: a questionnaire and a follow-up call.
“I have your report here. I see six accounts, two in collections, and one public record we should talk about.”
With CreditPullEngine: intake from the report.

Intake playbook

How a legal intake runs on CreditPullEngine.

At a glance

  • Pull with a phone number: the client consents by text and verifies with a one-time passcode.
  • One report covers tradelines, payments, inquiries, collections and public records.
  • Scorecast organizes debts by creditor and type for a fast attorney review.
  • Export the report as PDF for the file, or JSON and HTML for your systems.
  • Your firm certifies a permissible purpose before any report is pulled.

First call: pull with what the client has

Most clients can't recite their date of birth, address history and account numbers in one sitting. Enter a phone number, the client consents by text and confirms a one-time passcode, and the report arrives. Standard identifiers work too when you have them.

Review: a summary built for a quick read

Scorecast groups every account by creditor and type, totals balances, and flags derogatory items and collections. Your attorney or paralegal sees the shape of the client's debt without paging through raw tradelines.

Consultation: go over it together

During a call, send a ClearView link so the client sees a redacted view of their own report on their phone, synchronized with yours. Your notes and analysis stay on your screen.

The file: keep the record

  • PDF for the case file. A readable copy of the report your team can store with the matter.
  • JSON and HTML for your systems. Normalized data that drops into your practice management or CRM fields.
  • Full audit trail. Every pull and access event is logged.
  • Locked consent. FCRA authorization blocks can't be edited or removed.

Who uses it

Built for consumer-facing practices.

Any intake that starts with a consumer's debts runs better with the report in hand. How you use it in the matter is your firm's call.

  • Bankruptcy

See the creditor list before the petition work begins.

Start from the accounts the report shows, then fill gaps with the client instead of starting from a blank form.

  • Debt defense

Know which accounts are in collections.

Collections, charge-offs and public records are flagged so the attorney can see what the client is facing at a glance.

  • Family law intake

Get a clear view of a client's debts.

When debts matter to the matter, a pull of your own client's report, with their authorization, gives intake a factual starting point. Never pull an opposing party's report.

Questions law firms ask.

What do we need from the client to pull a report?

A phone number is enough to start. The client consents by text and verifies with a one-time passcode. Standard identifiers work too.

What does the report include?

Financial history, tradelines, payments, inquiries, public records and scores, with sections for consumer data, derogatory items, credit summary, mortgage and credit cards.

Who determines permissible purpose for a pull?

Your firm does. You certify a permissible purpose before any report is pulled. CreditPullEngine handles the infrastructure side: locked consent, verification and audit logging.

Does CreditPullEngine give legal advice about the report?

No. We provide the report and the analysis tools. How the information is used in a matter is up to your attorneys.

Can we save the report to the case file?

Yes. Reports are available as PDF, JSON and HTML, so you can store a copy with the matter or send the data to your systems.

Does pulling a report affect the client's credit score?

Soft pulls don't affect the consumer's score. Talk to us about which pull types your workflow needs.
